She was an actor in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. She traveled across France as a soldier in the all-female King Lear production in 2003. Her one-woman show, The Patriots, premiered at the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5, 2005. The show won her the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. From April 2011 to May 2013, Coupe appeared alongside Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton on ABC's ensemble comedy series Happy Endings. The show was cancelled by ABC on May 3, 2013 with no notice, despite the praise from critics. It also gained an acclaim and cult status. Happy Endings was cancelled. She played a recurring role in House of Lies's third season and also appeared alongside Jay Harrington in Benched, a comedy series on the USA Network that premiered on October 28 on the 28th of October 2014. Later, she appeared in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role of a recurring as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
