Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, and teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton as well as the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Her appearances in commercials were numerous as a young child. Anna relocated to Toronto Ontario in order in order to pursue acting. In the decade which followed, she relocated into Los Angeles.
