Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She was a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a writer, television personality, philanthropist as well as the owner and publisher of The Huffington Post. Originally from Greece she relocated to England at the age of 16 and completed her studies at Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. First foreign-born graduate to hold the position of president in the famous debate group The Cambridge Union, at age 21 she took over the position. Her success as a conservative columnist was consolidated after she finished her degree. When the Huffington Post was launched The Huffington Post a few years later, she created an online voice portal that offered an honest assessment of the current state of the nation's politics. Her fame and popularity helped by attracting a variety of high-profile contributors to publish their thoughts on politics news and culture. Arianna was first noticed during 2003 when she volunteered for California's recall election, replacing then Governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna led the Detroit initiative that promoted fuel efficient automobiles. Forbes listed her as the most influential woman in the field of media in 2009. Her ranking was in the 12th spot on Forbes' listing. The Guardian also included her on the list of top 100 media in 2009. AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post in 2011 and appointed her as head of its media division, which also included additional AOL properties such as Engadget AOL Music Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is the daughter of Konstantinos the manager's advisor as well as a journalist. Even though she was close with her father, the relationship she had to her mom shaped the remainder of her life. From her early years, she demonstrated leadership skills that are still highly regarded. As a 16-year-old, she moved over in the United Kingdom for her higher education. In Girton College Cambridge.
