Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer, and singer. A beautiful and smart actress, she's an example to numerous Asian actors who wish to become famous in Hollywood. A series of successful early appearances in popular television series led to her becoming well-known for her part in the character on Ally McBeal, where she was Ling Woo. After her fame, she got significant parts for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress also gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. While she was in the film, her roles as a leading lady in flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. Then, she was voice actor in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's small-screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas which featured Liu in recurring role, allowed her to reaffirm her as an actress.
