The daughter is Harvey Welker a Native American father, and Julie Welker an African-American mother. Her mother is an agent in real estate while her father is a graduate in engineering. Walker has graduated from Germantown Friends School situated within Philadelphia's Germantown district in 1994. After that, she went to Harvard College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Welker is engaged to John Hughes a well-known marketing director at Merck located in Philadelphia and the couple has two kids. The couple began in 2014 having an affair.
